Jie L.

Jie L. serves as the VP of Engineering at Neuralink since 2017, leading a diverse team of over 150 experts across various engineering disciplines. Prior experience includes serving as a Founding Member and Director of Implant Systems at the University of California, Berkeley from 2014 to 2017, where Jie L. conducted thesis work on Neural dust and contributed to integrated ultrasonic imaging and phased-array technology. Between 2011 and 2014, Jie L. worked at Bosch USA on mixed-signal chip design for wireless sensor networks, and earlier, in 2010-2011, completed a research fellowship at Caltech focused on THz imaging systems. Education includes a Master's in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley (2010) and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Caltech (2004).
