Jie Li is the Vice President of Engineering at Neuralink, overseeing a team of over 150 experts in various fields including microfabrication, chip design, and neuroscience since 2017. Previously, Jie served as a Founding Member and Director of Implant Systems at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2014 to 2017, where significant contributions included the invention of neural dust and research as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. Jie also has experience in mixed-signal chip design at Bosch USA, and held a research fellowship at Caltech, where the focus was on on-chip THz imaging systems. Jie holds a Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree from Caltech, cementing a strong educational foundation in electrical engineering and computer sciences.
