Lexy Schimmel

Lexy Schimmel is an accomplished scientist currently working at Neuralink since January 2022. Previously, Lexy served as a FLIK Ambassador at FLIK - Female Laboratory of Innovative Knowledge and held roles in AI and Data at Syndee, where Lexy applied expertise in behavioral neuroscience to user experience and developed web scrapers using Python. Lexy's earlier experience includes project coordination for the Procurement of the New St. Paul's Hospital at Providence Health Care, where Lexy finalized critical documentation for Ministry submissions. Lexy began a strong academic background with a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology, both from Queen's University, where Lexy also contributed as a research assistant and teaching assistant.
