Loreto Prieto

Loreto Prieto currently serves as the Head of Machine Learning & Data Science at NeuralWorks since April 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Jefe de R&D at LATAM Airlines and Project Manager & Frontend Web Developer at TERMINAL. As CEO of The Moodie Company, Loreto led initiatives in advanced AI. Additionally, leadership in a capstone project at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile involved developing a production control system. Earlier positions include Developer Intern at TiendApp and Teaching Assistant in various courses at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. A research stint at the University of Notre Dame focused on Person Re-Identification. Loreto holds a Master of Science in Person Verification in Low Resolution Images and a degree in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, complemented by further studies at the University of California, Berkeley and The Bridge UC.
