Jim Gallagher

Mr. Gallagher joined Neurana Pharmaceuticals in 2018 as Senior Director of CMC and is responsible for providing leadership and expertise in chemistry, manufacturing, and control across all aspects of the Omzya® program.

Mr. Gallagher has over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing supporting numerous IND and NDA submissions. Prior to Neurana, Mr. Gallagher served as Director of Manufacturing & Process Development at Orexigen Therapeutics, where he was responsible for the commercial manufacture of Contrave®. Earlier in his career, he worked in various roles focused on process development, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing at Trius Therapeutics, Allergan, Pfizer, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, and the Upjohn Company.

Mr. Gallagher received B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Material Science from the University of Minnesota.
