Mikel Elkano Ilintxeta

Mikel Elkano Ilintxeta has work experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Navarrabiomed. Centro de Investigación Biomédica from January 2018 to November 2020, and at Universidad Pública de Navarra from March 2018 to November 2020. Mikel is also a Co-founder & CEO of Neuraptic AI since December 2020, and has taken on the role of Co-founder & CTO since March 2022.

Mikel Elkano Ilintxeta completed their education in a chronological manner. They started their academic journey at the Universidad Pública de Navarra, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Gestión (Computer Science) from 2009 to 2012. They then pursued further studies at the same institution, obtaining a second Bachelor's degree in Ingeniería en Informática (Computer Science) from 2012 to 2014.

In 2015, Mikel enrolled in a Master of Science program in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, completing their studies in 2016. During this time, they also obtained several additional certifications, including the Big Data XSeries Certificate and the edX Verified Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning, both from edX in August 2015. They also obtained the edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark from edX in July 2015.

Following their Master's degree, Mikel pursued a training program at the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University in 2016, specializing in Computational Neuroscience. Finally, they returned to the Universidad Pública de Navarra to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence, which they completed in 2018.
