Jan von Winterfeld has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Jan started their career in 2007 as a Software Developer at Die Guerillas Gmbh and later joined uscreen GmbH in 2011 as a Software Developer. In 2012, they moved to Rocket Internet SE as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in maintaining and developing features for the product editing tool used in Rocket's e-commerce ventures. Jan also developed prototypes and rollouts for various Rocket Internet ventures worldwide.
In 2014, Jan took on the role of Director of Software Engineering at both Carmudi (Rocket Internet SE venture) and Lamudi (Rocket Internet SE venture) for a short period of time. Jan then worked as a Lead Developer at elefunds GmbH from July 2014 until September 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Python Developer at Vimcar from November 2014 to September 2015.
Jan's next role was as a Member at alphalist starting in January 2019. Jan then joined Neuraum Ventures in September 2015 as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Currently, Jan works as the CTO at Planoa Bauberatung since November 2020.
Jan von Winterfeld has studied Informatik at TU Dortmund University. No specific start or end year was provided for this education.
