Mark Fletcher

Mark Fletcher is the former President and CEO of Katena Products, a leading ophthalmic surgical instrumentation company. Prior to Katena, Mark was President of the Surgical Technologies business of Medtronic. During his 7 year tenure, Mark successfully achieved significant growth of Medtronic PLC’s $2 billion surgical technologies division through disruptive innovation, aggressive expansion, and strategic M&A. Mark was also President of Medtronic ENT, providing ear, nose and throat treatment technologies, and Vice-President/General Manager and Founder of Solan Ophthalmology and VP of Xomed Surgical Products, a leader in sinus surgical instrumentation, both of which were acquired by Medtronic in 1999 for over $800 million. He is also a board member of several start-up medical technology companies worldwide, and co-founder of Shruthi, an organization dedicated to bringing ear health to the underserved in India.
