Heidi Hinkka, LLM, BSc (Tech), MBA

Heidi Hinkka, LLM, BSc (Tech), MBA has extensive experience in legal, financial, and strategic planning. Heidi began their career in 2002 as an Associate at Roschier Attorneys Ltd. Heidi then worked as a Corporate Counsel at Inion Oy from 2005 to 2007, and as a Legal Counsel at Nokia Corporation from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Ozics Oy as CFO and Board Member, and in 2016 they worked as an Innovation Commercialization Expert at Tampere University of Technology. In 2017, they Co-Founded Team Biomenders, and in 2018 they Co-Founded, became Chairman & CFO of Biomendex Oy. Heidi was responsible for all commercialization activities with a special focus on strategy, finance, and legal matters, and secured the EU SME Instrument Phase 2 project grant of 2,25 M€ from the European Innovation Council's Horizon 2020 program together with the team in September 2019. Heidi has also held Board Member positions at Meluta Oy since 2015 and Visib Oy since 2021. Currently, they are working as Operational Development & HR, General Counsel and Strategy and Business Developer at Neuro Event Labs Oy since 2020.

Heidi Hinkka has three degrees. Heidi obtained their LL.M. from the University of Turku in 1994-1998, their B.Sc. from the Tampere University of Technology in 1998-2005, and their Executive MBA from TAMK and Tallinn University of Technology in 2013-2015, specializing in International Business Management.
