Michael Wölkner

Michael Wölkner has been working in the software industry since 2003. Michael began their career as Co-founder of Rakanu.com, now Mercure eSales GmbH, a company that specializes in online trade and distribution via a broad portfolio of online shops, web development services, custom content management systems and SEO services. In 2006, they took on the role of IT/Exports Engineer at Consolidated Independent Ltd. Michael then moved on to Apple Inc. in 2011, where they served as Loc Engineer and Localization Test Engineer. In 2007, they founded and curated Catch The Falling Leaves, a non-profit Netlabel. In the same year, they also worked as Senior Test Engineer at Symbio Finland. Most recently, they have been serving as Senior QA Engineer at Nokia Technologies since 2017 and as Software Quality Assurance Team Lead at Neuro Event Labs Oy since 2018.

Michael Wölkner has a Vocational Education degree in Information Technology from Provadis GmbH, which they obtained between 2000 and 2003. Michael also holds two certifications: Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from Coursera, obtained in April 2021, and ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, obtained in June 2015.
