Alexander Barabash has had a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Alexander began their career in 1993 as a Software Engineer at Card Guard and then moved on to work at Summit Design and Innoveda as a Software Engineer from 1994 to 2002. Alexander joined Summit Design (spinoff from Innoveda) in 2002 as a Software Engineer and later took on the role of R&D Director. In 2007, they joined Mentor Graphics as a Senior Software Engineer and stayed with the company until 2016. At Dell EMC XtremIO, they worked as a Senior Principal Software Engineer in the Storage division, focusing on Linux kernel and userspace development in C. Since 2021, they have been working at NeuroBlade as a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform group, where they are involved in the development of runtime infrastructure and hardware drivers using C++20.
Alexander Barabash attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) from 1985 to 1990, where they studied Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1991 to 1993.
