Derek Smith

Derek Smith has over a decade of experience in software development across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at VeraSci since September 2019, Derek focuses on web application development utilizing technologies such as Node 10, Express 4, Angular 8, and React. Prior to this role, Derek was a Web Developer at CyraCom International for over six years, where web application development was the primary responsibility. Earlier in the career at Aljo Inc, Derek developed software applications to enhance business processes, and gained experience as a Software Engineer at Wilmington Trust and American Express, where automated trading software and customized marketing processes were developed, respectively. Education was completed at Pima Community College.
