Sherry Schnell

Sherry Schnell serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel at Neurocrine Biosciences, providing legal and compliance support primarily to the Commercial and Medical Affairs organizations since January 2016. Previously, Schnell held senior positions in compliance and legal affairs at Orexigen Therapeutics and Santarus, Inc., where responsibilities included developing compliance programs and ensuring adherence to industry regulations. With extensive experience in legal services for pharmaceutical companies dating back to 2002, Schnell has worked in roles at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Elan Pharmaceuticals, and prominent law firms such as Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Schnell holds a Doctor of Law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
