Junior Brain Modeling Researcher at Neuroelectrics

Èlia Lleal Custey has held various positions in the past five years. In 2014, they completed a Summer Internship at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in the Sensory Systems and Behaviour group. In 2017, they began an Undergraduate Internship at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in the Synthetic Biology for Biomedical Applications group and a Leisure Time Monitor position at Fundació Esplai Girona. In 2018, they completed an Undergraduate Internship at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) in the Infectious Diseases research group. In 2019, they began a Junior Brain Modeling Researcher, Clinical Research, and Business Analyst position at Neuroelectrics, as well as an Undergraduate Internship - Bachelor's Thesis position at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in the Wireless Information Networking Research Group.

Èlia Lleal Custey has a diverse educational background. In 2009, they completed their Educació Secundària Obligatòria i Batxillerat at Institut Santiago Sobrequés i Vidal, and their Grau Professional de Música at Conservatori de Música Isaac Albéniz de la Diputació de Girona in 2015. In the same year, they obtained their Certificat de nivell superior de català (C2) from the Generalitat de Catalunya. From 2015 to 2019, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and in 2017 they obtained their English C1 Level from Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Idiomes. In 2018, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange Student program at the University of Tübingen in Biomedical Technologies Master. In 2017, they obtained their Leisure Time Monitor from the Generalitat de Catalunya and in 2022 they obtained their German B2 Certificate from Escola Oficial d'Idiomes de Barcelona (Drassanes). Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
