Thais Baleeiro Teixeira

Thais Baleeiro Teixeira has over 20 years of work experience in clinical development and drug safety. From 2021 to 2009, they worked at Ferrer Internacional SA in various roles, including Clinical Development Head, Drug Safety & PMS Manager, and Clinical Research and Drug Safety Manager. In these roles, they orchestrated the design and execution of clinical development projects, ensured the implementation of adequate systems to manage AE and SAEs for clinical trials, and planned and executed phase I, II, and III of international clinical trials. From 2001 to 2009, they worked at Merck as a Pharmacovigilance Coordinator and CRA, where they were responsible for monitoring activities and adverse event reporting. Currently, they are the Clinical Development Director at Neuroelectrics.

Thais Baleeiro Teixeira has a long and impressive education history. Thais began their studies in 1983 at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they earned a Licentiate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. In 1998, they moved on to Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where they completed a PhD in Biomedical Sciences- Pharmacoepidemiology in 2002. In 2012, they attended Universitat de Barcelona, where they earned a Graduation (post)- Universitat Barcelona in the field of Pharmacovigilance. Finally, in 2017, they attended Esade, though no degree or field of study was specified.
