Sophie Regan

Sophie Regan is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in supporting neurodivergent and gender diverse individuals using trauma-informed and neuro-affirming approaches. Currently serving as a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Lead at NeuroKind since November 2022, Sophie also works as a Clinical Psychologist in Training at Hunter New England Local Health District. In addition, Sophie coordinates a course on Gender Diversity and Transgender Mental Health at the University of Newcastle. Previous roles include provisional psychologist placements that involved gender-affirming care and trauma-informed support, alongside academic contributions in developing gender diversity curricula. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Professional Psychology, both from the University of Newcastle.
