Alexander Poltorak

Alexander Poltorak has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Alexander is the President and Founder of NeuroLight, Inc., a neuroscience R&D startup focused on developing technologies in the field of neuromodulation, brain entrainment, and neuroenhancement. In addition to this, they are also the Managing Director of Ydea Lab, LLC, an IP-centric Idea incubator with a portfolio of ten startups.

Previously, Poltorak served as the Chairman & CEO of General Patent Corporation, a leading IP boutique specializing in patent licensing and enforcement on a contingency basis. Alexander managed a team of IP attorneys and oversaw patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright litigation. Alexander was the Managing Director of IP Holdings LLC from 2000 to 2018.

Poltorak has also worked in academia, serving as an Adjunct Professor of Physics at The City College of New York and as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Globe Institute of Technology. Alexander was an Assistant Professor of Physics at Touro College from 1990 to 1992 and an Assistant Professor of Biomathematics at Cornell University Medical College from 1982 to 1985.

Earlier in their career, Poltorak founded Rapitech Systems Inc., a NASDAQ-listed computer technology company, where they served as President & CEO. Alexander also held the position of VP of R&D and was responsible for conceptualizing and managing the development of innovative multimedia devices and AI-based cross-compilers.

Throughout their career, Poltorak has demonstrated their expertise in intellectual property, neuroscience R&D, academia, and entrepreneurship.

Alexander Poltorak earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics from Kuban State University (KubSU) from 1975 to 1980. Alexander then pursued a Ph.D.-equivalent in Theoretical Physics from the State University of Kuban in 1980. In addition to their educational background, they have also obtained certification as a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) from the Licensing Executives Society USA and Canada, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
