Michael Lauk

Michael Lauk is an accomplished healthcare and digital innovation leader with extensive experience in the life sciences sector. Currently serving as Chief Digital Officer and interim Group CIO at B. Braun Group since June 2020, Michael also oversees the B. Braun Innovation Hub. As the Managing Director of B. Braun New Ventures GmbH, Michael plays a pivotal role in corporate start-up initiatives. Michael co-founded neuroloop, where efforts focus on an implantable device for high blood pressure management, and has held senior positions in several other health technology firms, including respEQ, SpinDiag, and inSleep Technologies. Michael co-founded Lauk Ventures GmbH, contributing to the establishment of over 12 start-ups in Europe and the U.S. Additionally, Michael has been instrumental in leading various medical device and health technology companies, driving innovation and growth throughout a career that began with a PhD in Physics from the University of Freiburg.
