Gustavo Borges

Gustavo Borges is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Neuromod Devices since January 2021, Gustavo previously held roles such as PMO Manufacturing Engineer at Boston Scientific, focusing on scalability and manufacturing for the LOTUS Edge® heart valve, and Senior Process and Industrial Engineer at Abbott and St Jude Medical, dedicated to artificial bioprostheses heart valve manufacturing processes. Additionally, Gustavo contributed to academia as a Project Management Postgraduate course coordinator and docent at Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte, and as an undergraduate docent at Kroton Group - Pitágoras University. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Optical Metrology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Control, Automation, and Computer Systems from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
