Kidsan Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They have held various roles in different companies.

In 2022, Barnes joined Neuron as the VP Maritime, where they redefined satellite communications with AI, ML, and SDN, disrupting connectivity for mobility fleets. They were then promoted to the role of SVP in 2023.

In 2014, Barnes founded GAMI Outreach, LLC, a global non-profit organization that provides free internet access through local partnerships in internet cafes, mainly in emerging markets.

From 2019 to 2022, Barnes worked at Intellian Technologies, initially as the Cruise Market Manager and later as the Director of Global Cruise & LATAM.

In 2018, Barnes founded Contentivity LLC, a consulting firm specializing in domestic and international connectivity services, international logistics, and business relations between Africa, the Caribbean, and the United States. They provided consulting services for networks on land and at sea.

From 2013 to 2018, Barnes worked at Global Eagle, where they held the position of Director. They were responsible for increasing revenues and establishing customer trust globally.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Barnes worked at EMC (Expanding Mobile Connectivity) in various roles, including Director of Sales and Account Management.

Barnes began their career at AT&T in 2004, where they held various positions, including Manager and Marketing Chair. They were involved in order management, account management, and intra-company support.

Overall, Barnes has gained extensive experience in connectivity, telecommunications, and non-profit sectors, with a focus on innovative solutions and customer satisfaction.

Kidsan Barnes obtained a Cisco Networking Certification from Stanly Community College (SCC) in 2009. In 2014, they earned a B.A in Business Administration and Management, General from Florida Atlantic University. They then pursued further education and completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Florida International University in 2019. Additionally, in 2018, Kidsan Barnes participated in the Executive MBA International Consortium program offered by Chongqing University. They also completed a GVF510 program from the Global VSAT Forum in an unspecified year prior to 2016.
