Gyanendra Kumar

Gyanendra Kumar has a strong background in computational chemistry and structural biology. Gyanendra started their career as a Computational Chemist - Postdoc at Brookhaven National Laboratory from September 2007 to September 2012. During this time, they designed peptide-based and small molecule inhibitors of the Botulinum neurotoxin protease activity and determined crystal structures of a sugar kinase.

Gyanendra Kumar completed their education in a chronological order. Gyanendra started their academic journey by pursuing a Master's Degree in Life Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University, which they completed in 2000. Following that, they pursued an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Bioinformatics from the same university, completing it in 2001. Gyanendra then went on to achieve a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) between 2001 and 2007.
