Victoria Hosford

Research Associate II at Neurona Therapeutics

Victoria Hosford has four years of experience in the biotechnology industry. From 2011-2015, they were an Intern at SDSU Research Foundation, where they organized the chemical shelf and kept the MSDS books updated. Victoria also designed and executed experiments that were used to research microbes found in the coral reef ecosystem of the Northern Line Islands, Hawaii and Bali, Indonesia. From 2015-2018, they worked as a Quality Control Specialist at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., performing a variety of quality control tests on CAR-T products manufactured in a GMP setting. Victoria also designed and customized FACS panels with 2 to 4 multicolor flow panels for several tests. Since 2020, they have been a Research Associate II at Neurona Therapeutics, responsible for performing a small-scale and at-scale process development experiments for cGMP manufacturing processes for cell culture and cryopreservation. Victoria also helps to develop and execute the manufacture of human neural cell therapeutics from pluripotent stem cells and assists with maintaining laboratories.

Victoria Hosford attended San Diego State University from 2014 to 2018.
