Amin Mirzaaghaeian

Amin Mirzaaghaeian has a strong background in quality engineering and mechanical engineering. Amin currently holds the position of Principal Quality Engineer at NeuroPace, where they provide quality assurance leadership and supports mechanical product development, design change efforts, and manufacturing. Before joining NeuroPace, Amin worked as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Theranos, where they were responsible for generating CAD models, mechanical drawings, and BOMs for high-volume injection molding. Amin also led a group for designing manufacturing assembly fixtures and test fixtures.

Amin has also gained experience as a Project Engineer at PROPEL Orthodontics, where they implemented design improvements for products and worked with international distributors for medical device registration and clearance. At PROPEL Orthodontics, they also served as the verification and validation test director for current and future devices.

In addition, Amin worked as an Operations Specialist at Baxter International Inc., where they investigated and documented nonconformance reports and provided advanced analytical support for quality systems. Amin also worked as an Associate Engineer at PROPEL Orthodontics, conducting patent research and prototype testing.

Amin's work experience also includes serving as a Graduate Student at California Polytechnic State University, where they focused on the development and characterization of a custom perfusion bioreactor for cultivating a tissue engineered blood brain barrier. Amin also interned at Vertos Medical Inc, assisting senior mechanical and manufacturing engineers, and at KLA-Tencor, working on various projects including surface profiling and wafer inspection.

Amin's career began at Zazzle, where they worked in quality assurance and inventory management. Amin managed shirt inventory, inspected products for quality, and packaged shipments.
