Gary Sanserino has over 29 years of experience in sales and leadership roles within the healthcare industry. Gary began their career in 1982 as a Sales Representative for Johnson and Johnson (IOLAB), where they were recognized for their exceptional performance and inducted into the Pfizer Sales Hall of Fame in 2004. Sanserino then worked as the National Sales Director for Surgical Ophthalmology at Pharmacia/Pfizer, where they grew and defended various product categories, including taking Xalatan from $0 to over $1 billion in sales. Gary successfully led a national sales team during the integration and divestiture following Pfizer's announcement of their intent to sell the Medical/Surgical unit. Sanserino later joined Amylin Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Account Manager, where they played a crucial role in the launch of two first-in-class diabetes medications, Byetta and Symlin. Gary then served as the Western Area VP Cataract for Bausch and Lomb, where they exceeded or achieved quota in key product areas and drove sales of over $60 million. Most recently, Sanserino worked as a Western Region Sales Consultant for NeurOptics, focusing on critical care, ophthalmology, and research. Throughout their career, Sanserino has demonstrated expertise in sales management, account management, and driving sales growth.
