Ashleigh Kennedy has worked in various roles since 2004. Ashleigh began their career as a Research Assistant at Stanford Hospital & Clinics in 2004. In 2013, they became a Post-doctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo. In 2017, they moved to Synapse Biomedical Consulting as a Wearable Technology Consultant. In 2019, they founded Neurovine.

Ashleigh Kennedy attended Stanford University from 2002 to 2006, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology. Ashleigh then attended the University of Ottawa from 2007 to 2012, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Kinetics. From 2013 to 2017, they held a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Neurophysiology. Ashleigh also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from Nantes Université from 2008 to 2012, with a focus on STAPS.
