Mark Vollmer has been working in the clinical research field since 1987. Mark began their career as a Clinical Research Associate at International Clinical Research Corporation, a CRO focused on supporting pharmaceutical companies focused on CNS medication development, before moving to Lorex Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Research Associate III in 1988. In 1992, they joined 3M Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Clinical Research Associate. In 1995, they became the President and Founder of Arrow Research, Inc. In 2003, they began working at Medtronic as a Clinical Research Manager. In 2005, they were hired as the Director of Clinical Studies at EnteroMedics. Mark then returned to Medtronic in 2010 as the Director of Clinical Research before becoming a Senior Consultant for a self-employed venture in 2015. Most recently, they have been the Director of Clinical Research at Neuspera Medical Inc. since 2019.
Mark Vollmer earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse between 1981 and 1986.
