Neutral Territory helps individuals, organisations and communities to measure, offset and reduce their carbon emissions. We have been creating ‘carbon neutral territory’ since 2010 but this great tag line doesn’t quite work now the move is towards ‘carbon net zero’.

It’s mainly the work of me – Richard Parker – and tries to answer the question of why don’t other people do the same as what we’ve done for over a decade. We use action research to find out, and group studies around Work, Rest and Play which some of our older readers might remember from Mars Bar adverts.

Like Emmeline Pankhurst, we prefer ‘Deeds Not Words’ so site content is minimal and based on brief posts organised using categories and tags. Posts go back a long, long way and many are contributed by our fantastic summer interns, all of whom have gone on to do great things.
