Nickolas Hopkins

Nickolas Hopkins is an experienced payroll professional with a diverse background in payroll management and analysis. Currently serving as a Payroll Analyst for the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools since March 2019, Nickolas provides technical payroll support for nine county school districts and four charter schools using Escape/Frontline software. Prior to this, Nickolas held the position of Accountant II - Payroll at the County of Sutter Auditor-Controller's Office, where oversight and administration of bi-weekly payroll for over 1,000 county employees were managed. Nickolas's career in payroll management began in March 1990 with The Absinthe Group, where skills in payroll processes were developed over nearly three decades. Educated at Eastern Washington University, Nickolas combines extensive practical experience with a solid academic foundation.
