Nevada Humane Society (NHS) is a no-kill shelter located in Reno, NV, creating a no-kill community in Washoe County and northern Nevada.  

Nevada Humane Society has been bringing people and animals together since 1932. Today, we have set our sights on creating a true safety net for the animals. Our goal is to provide an adoption guarantee - a good life in a good home - for every homeless dog and cat in our community who can be saved, making Washoe County a no-kill community.
 
We're already well on our way, saving more animals than ever before. With the help and support, we will achieve our no-kill goal - not just for the animals on our shelter, but for every homeless animal in the community

The Client Services Team at Nevada Humane Society is dedicated to enhancing the experience of adopters, donors, and volunteers by providing excellent customer service and support. The Chief Executive Officer oversees overall operations and sets long-term objectives, the Chief Philanthropy Officer spearheads fundraising and community engagement initiatives, and the Chief Financial Officer manages the financial health and sustainability of the organization. Together, they collaborate to bring people and animals together, ensuring a safe and loving home for every homeless pet in Washoe County and northern Nevada.
