David Taliaferro

David Taliaferro, GSEC, currently serves as a Senior Systems Engineer at the Nevada System of Higher Education since October 2021. Prior to this role, David held positions at MD Labs as a Senior Systems Security Administrator and Director of Systems Development from June 2014 to October 2021. David's earlier experience includes a role as a Quality Control Technician at Vitamin Research Products, LLC, where responsibilities involved conducting microbiological and analytical tests in compliance with cGMP/GLP standards, and as a Bench Chemist at the University of Nevada Reno, focusing on environmental testing of water samples. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno, between 2010 and 2012, and completed SEC401 from SANS Las Vegas.
