Troy Burns

Troy Burns has extensive work experience in the sports industry, primarily in sales and consulting roles. Troy started their career at Spectrum Corporation in 1980, where they worked in electronic assembly, control/component assembly, final assembly, installation, and service. Troy then transitioned into sales and served as the Production Manager, Design, National Sales Manager, and Installation Coordinator. In 2003, Burns joined Fair-Play Scoreboards as a Regional Sales Manager, focusing on large football and video display projects. Troy was responsible for sales, installation, and training, as well as creating media packages and providing engineering and electrical details. In 2008, Burns joined Nevco Inc. as a Sports Video Sales representative and later became the Sales Manager for the Texas region. In this role, they provided integrated solutions for scoring, video displays, and LED display systems. Troy joined Nevco Sports in 2009 as a Sports Video Consultant, and they also held the position of Texas Regional Sales Manager. Burns remained with Nevco Inc. until 2016.

Troy Burns obtained an Associate's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from San Jacinto College. Prior to that, between 1978 and 1981, they attended J Frank Dobie High School and earned a diploma.
