Lawrence Mwangi

Lawrence Mwangi has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and integration. Lawrence is currently working as a Backend Integration Specialist at Nevvon since May 2022. Prior to that, Lawrence was a Research Assistant at Durham College's AI Hub, where they developed a chatbot using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Rasa Open Source. Lawrence also worked as a Senior Software Developer at CVPoa, where they led a team in rebuilding a web application using a microservices architecture and implemented CI/CD pipelines for deployment. Additionally, Lawrence has experience as a Software Developer at Kopo Kopo Inc, where they rebuilt the client application interface in React and maintained REST API and webhooks.

Lawrence Mwangi pursued their education at Durham College from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Artificial Intelligence Design and Implementation. Prior to that, they attended the University of Nairobi from 2013 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Lawrence also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2023.
