Career And Technical Education Program Director at NEW ALBANY-FLOYD COUNTY CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL CORPORATION

Dr. Kyle Lanoue has extensive work experience in the field of education. Dr. Kyle started their career as a Teacher at Brown County Schools in 1999 and worked there until 2005. In 2002, they became an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University Bloomington. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Indiana State University as an Assistant To The Director and University Teacher.

In 2008, Dr. Lanoue joined the New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation as an Assistant Principal. Dr. Kyle then progressed to the role of School Principal from 2009 to 2019. During this time, they also served as the Career and Technical Education Program Director and coordinated the School Improvement Grade for the Indiana Department of Education.

In 2020, Dr. Lanoue returned to the role of Assistant Principal at the New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation, and in 2021, they assumed the position of Career and Technical Education Program Director.

Dr. Kyle Lanoue's education history began in 1994 when they attended Indiana State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Technology Teacher Education/Industrial Arts Teacher Education in 1999. Afterward, they pursued a Diploma in Mountaineering from the National Outdoor Leadership School in 2002. In 2003, they returned to Indiana State University and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which they completed in 2005. Dr. Lanoue furthered their education at Indiana State University and attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, finishing in 2008. Dr. Kyle then briefly attended the National Outdoor Leadership School again in 2002 to complete a Diploma in Outdoor Wilderness Educator Course. Most recently, in 2020, Dr. Kyle Lanoue acquired a licensure in Director of Career and Technical Education from Indiana State University.
