Alex Klosterman

Alex Klosterman is an Economic Development Specialist currently working in New Albany, Ohio since August 2023. Previously, Alex served as an International Business Development Intern at JobsOhio from May 2021 to May 2023, focusing on international site selection research and economic modeling. Alex's experience also includes a role as a Teaching Assistant for the Ohio Export Internship Program at The Ohio State University from June 2020 to May 2023, where Alex trained interns contributing to significant export growth for Ohio small businesses. Alex began an internship with the Ohio Department of Development in January 2020, which followed an academic journey as a Student Project Lead in the Ohio Export Internship Program. Early experience includes roles as a Camp Ranger and Summer Camp Counselor for the Boy Scouts of America, emphasizing education in American heritage and historical techniques, alongside creating a popular Ohio history YouTube channel. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
