David Zikusoka

Non-resident Senior Fellow at NEW AMERICA

David Zikusoka is a distinguished policy expert and researcher with extensive experience in national security, defense, and technology innovation. Currently serving as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at New America and as a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project, Zikusoka has held prominent positions within the U.S. Department of Defense, including Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense and Senior Director for Defense at the Special Competitive Studies Project. Zikusoka's prior roles also include Policy Director at the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission and Senior Advisor to the Vice President on issues related to weapons of mass destruction and Middle Eastern affairs.
