Ben Heckel

Ben Heckel is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in corporate and operational accounting. Currently serving as Assistant Controller at New American Funding since June 2022, Ben is responsible for managing entries related to the Buyer Accepted Program, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining fixed asset schedules. Prior to this role, Ben held various positions at loanDepot, including Senior Accountant, where responsibilities included managing lease schedules and reconciling general ledger accounts. Earlier career experience includes accounting roles at City Property Management, where Ben oversaw bookkeeping duties and property transfer processes. Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Arizona State University.
