New Avenues for Youth
Lauren Eads is an accomplished professional in nonprofit management and development, currently serving as the Director of Development and Communications at New Avenues for Youth since August 2019. In this role, Lauren is a key member of the Executive Leadership team, overseeing fundraising and communications for a $12 million organization, successfully navigating challenges such as donor fatigue and economic downturns. Prior experience includes leadership positions at These Numbers Have Faces, where Lauren managed program effectiveness for over 200 participants in Rwanda, and at the Arthritis Foundation, where Lauren raised significant funds across an eight-state region. Lauren has consistently demonstrated expertise in donor relations, strategic management, and program development throughout a career that includes various roles in nonprofit organizations. Lauren holds a Master’s in Philanthropic Studies and a Master’s in Non-Profit Management from Indiana University Indianapolis, as well as a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the same institution.
