New Bedford Whaling Museum
Samantha Santos currently serves as the Museum Learning and Curatorial Assistant at the New Bedford Whaling Museum, where responsibilities include managing departmental communications, coordinating meetings, and overseeing collections management. Previous experience includes an interim role as Manager of Young Adult Programs at the same museum, as well as a Special Education Paraeducator at Fall River Public Schools. Samantha has also contributed to Bridgewater State University as Sports Editor and Operations Assistant for university events, where skills in writing, editing, and event coordination were developed. Additional roles include beat writing for Wareham Gatemen Baseball and interning with the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. Education includes a Master of Library & Information Science from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Communications from Bridgewater State University.
