Aja Osita

Aja Osita is an experienced professional with a strong background in program management and equity-centered consulting. Currently serving as the Executive Director at New Beginnings since September 2022, Aja also operates as the Founder and Principal Consultant at Level Equity Consultants, LLC, focusing on anti-oppression education and organizational equity. Previously, Aja held significant roles including Director of Programs at HAVEN from October 2017 to September 2022, where support was provided to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and Program Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Additional experience includes leadership positions at SHIFT EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS and work as a Graduation Matters AmeriCorps VISTA at Park High School. Aja's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Intercultural Youth & Family Development from the University of Montana, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Hartford, and ongoing studies toward a Master of Education with K12 Art teaching certification at Montana State University-Bozeman.
