Evan Zarkadas

Evan Zarkadas currently serves as a Compass Advisor and Admissions Counselor at Salve Regina University since October 2022, while also holding the position of Adjunct Faculty Instructor in History at the University of Maine at Presque Isle since August 2023. Additionally, Evan has been a Podcast Host for Medieval History at New Books Network since September 2021 and serves as a Review Editor for H-Medieval at H-Net: Humanities & Social Sciences On-Line. Previous roles include Design Coordinator for the Black Bear Undergraduate History Journal and Teacher in Residence at Achievement First. Evan's academic background includes a Master's degree in European History from the University of Maine and a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Other experiences encompass various roles in education and research-related positions within the University of Maine system and internships focused on lesson plan development.
