Cassie Burque

Cassie Burque is an experienced educator and marketing professional with a diverse background. Currently serving as a self-contained second grade teacher at Memorial Elementary School within NBISD since July 2022, Cassie previously taught first grade science and social studies and co-taught in kindergarten and 1st-3rd grades at IDEA Public Schools from September 2019 to June 2022. Prior to their teaching career, Cassie held various marketing roles, including Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist at Superior HealthPlan and Area Leader for Field Marketing at Domino's, contributing to significant sales growth across multiple states. Cassie's early marketing experience includes positions at Proof Advertising, Dunkin' Donuts, Wunderman, and the Austin American-Statesman, complemented by a B.A. in Mass Communication and English from Texas State University.
