Jerry Purtle M. Ed.

Jerry Purtle, M. Ed., is an experienced educator currently serving as an educator at the New Braunfels Independent School District since August 2017, while also operating a bartending service, Southern Tapsters, since January 2019. Significant prior experience includes roles as a Special Education Liaison at Mesquite Independent School District (2015-2017), Learning Specialist at Douglas County School District (2013-2015), and Teacher/Coach at both Del Valle Independent School District (2012-2013) and Comal Independent School District (2008-2012). Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Administration from Lamar University (2011-2013) and a Bachelor’s Degree from Henderson State University (2004-2008). Additional involvement includes serving as the Historian for Business Professionals of America (2003-2004).
