James Garvin

James Garvin is currently the Sr. Water Protection Specialist at New Braunfels Utilities, where James oversees the Backflow Prevention & Cross Connection Control Program. Prior to this role, James was the President / Owner of Texas Backflow Dude, a family owned and operated company specializing in backflow prevention and cross-connection control consulting. With experience as a Park Foreman at the City of New Braunfels, TX, James has a background in operation and maintenance of backflow prevention assemblies and irrigation systems for parks and facilities. In pursuit of further education, James is currently studying Cross Connection Control Program Specialist at the University of Southern California.
