Heather Allaby

VP, Engagement & Experience at NEW BRUNSWICK COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Heather Allaby is the current Executive Director of Strategic & Integrated Engagement at New Brunswick Community College. Prior to their current role, Heather served as the Director of Marketing and Development at Theatre New Brunswick from August 2011 to November 2013. Heather has also held the position of Director with the Government of New Brunswick from October 2006 to April 2011, and Senior Policy Analyst with the Office of the Leader of the Opposition from January 2004 to December 2006.

Heather Allaby holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a BA in Art Heather'story and Theatre Studies from Acadia University.

Heather Allaby reports to Mary Butler, President & CEO. Heather Allaby works with Ann Drennan - VP, Academic & Research, Tim Walker - VP, Finance & Administration.

NEW BRUNSWICK COMMUNITY COLLEGE

The New Brunswick Community College Saint John Campus offers high-quality, job oriented, educational and training opportunities on a full time basis in areas of academic studies, business, information technology, health and human development, mechanical/industrial, electronics and trades. Each year, the college also provides training to hundreds of apprentices of various trades and to thousands of people on a part-time basis. The Academic Studies program is a full time regular program for obtaining credits or upgrading. Many high school subjects are also offered through the Correspondence Service and through the Continuing Education Program. Other courses are also offered through on-line learning. An orientation to the General Education Development (GED) program is also offered through the Distance Education Program. Under the Contract Training Department, specially designed contract training exists for agencies, businesses, and industries. Comprehensive apprenticeship trades training programs are also offered through Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Services. Co-operative education programs are also offered.
