Bruce Lemoine

Director Of Academic Records / Technology Instructor at New Canaan Country School

Bruce Lemoine has had a long career at New Canaan Country School. Bruce started in 1980 as a Teacher & Coach, working with grades 5-8. In this role, they taught various subjects such as English, mathematics, social studies, and life skills. In 1993, they became the Head of Middle School until 2005. During this time, they also served as the Academic Dean and Middle School Language Arts Teacher. From 2005 to 2008, they took on the role of Director of Studies and Director of the Apprentice Teacher Training Program, as well as a Technology Teacher. Lastly, from 2008 to 2012, they were the Director of Academic Records and a Technology Instructor.

Bruce Lemoine completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Williams College in the years 1976 to 1980. After a gap in their education, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Fairfield University between 1988 and 1991.
