Cindy Thom

Cindy Thom possesses extensive experience in early childhood and elementary education, currently serving as the Assistant Head of Early Childhood and Lower School for Teaching and Learning at New Canaan Country School since September 2011. Previously, Cindy has held various roles, including Learning Resources Teacher, K-2 Program Coordinator, and Third Grade Teacher at the same institution. Prior to this, Cindy worked as a Reading/Special Education Teacher in the Rye City School District and as a Second Grade Teacher at The Spence School. Earlier career experience includes serving as a First Grade Teacher at Rye Country Day School. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Special Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bucknell University.
