Jay Thornhill

Jay Thornhill has a diverse work experience history. Most recently, they have been working at the New Canaan Country School as the Assistant Athletic Director, Physical Education Teacher, and Coach since 2022. Prior to this, they spent a significant amount of time at The Hotchkiss School starting in 2015. During their tenure there, they held various roles such as Associate Director of Admission, Head Coach for Boys Varsity Soccer, and also worked in Residential Life and as an Advisor. Before joining The Hotchkiss School, Thornhill worked at The Loomis Chaffee School from 2009 to 2015 as the Assistant Director of Admission and Coordinator of International Student Recruitment. Additionally, they also taught Philosophy, Psychology, and Religion during their time at The Loomis Chaffee School.

Jay Thornhill attended Loomis Chaffee from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology at St. Lawrence University from 2005 to 2009.
