Lauren Catalano

Lauren Catalano is an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary education. Currently serving as Lead Teacher and previously as Apprentice Teacher at New Canaan Country School since June 2021, Lauren has developed and implemented a variety of lesson plans. Prior experience includes acting as a First Grade Student Teacher at Edwin M Holt Elementary School and as a 1st Grade Teacher's Assistant for Horizons at New Canaan Country School's summer program. Earlier roles include serving as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Pee Wee and completing an internship at West Elementary School, where reading groups and math concepts were conducted. Lauren holds a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Elon University.
