Christopher Hurst

Christopher Hurst is an experienced educator with a strong background in multimedia coordination, teaching, and coaching, currently serving as Multimedia Coordinator and Media Specialist at New Caney Independent School District since June 2019. Hurst is dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning practices through professional development in instructional strategies and digital learning tools, such as Canvas LMS and Bookcreator. Prior experience includes teaching social studies and coaching athletics, demonstrating a commitment to engaging diverse learners and utilizing research-based strategies. Hurst holds a Master of Education in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Houston.
