Michele Baschirotto has a diverse background in risk management and asset management. Michele started their career as an Investment Advisor intern at BG SGR (Generali) in 2006. Michele then joined BSI Bank in 2006 and held various positions including Risk Controller and Head of Asset Management Performance & Risk Control, where they worked from 2007 to 2017. In 2017, Michele joined EFG Asset Management (EFGAM) as the Head of Risk in Lugano, and later became the Global Head of Risk in 2018.

Michele Baschirotto completed their Master of Science in Institutions and Financial Markets Management - CLEFIN at "Università Commerciale" Luigi Bocconi from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their Degree in Business Administration - CLEA from the same institution from 2001 to 2004, specializing in Economia aziendale/manageriale.
